I would not be surprised if they put Mayweather in that spot however I think that it will probably be Amir Khan who gets it

I thought about mayweather....mosley deserves mention as well....but he wasn't active enough.....I don't like khan, but I think the kid deserves it...

Amir Khan is definitely a good choice. Maybe didn't beat top grade opponents but if you think about where he was coming from (L KO1 Prescott) to what he achieved (world title + 1 defence in good fashion) he's done pretty well.

When I think about it though, Mayweather came back after 20 months, challenged the lightweight champion to a welterweight catchweight bout...didn't even try to make weight and dominated him as expected.

    Hope that its not Mayweather

The definition of comeback is just after one loss? That doesnrt make any sesne to me. A comeback should mean being out of the sport. In this case the masterful performance by Floyd or Possibly Tua for his KO.

If he'd squeezed in a second fight in December like he was supposed to, Tua would have had a strong case. Especially if it was someone good...and ended in another water-cooler KO.

its true that Khan has had a hell of a comeback this year. TBH he could get it and it would be a good choice.

he ended 2008 on such a low
