show me one rival Lewis was better than Larry Holmes in 1983 and another better than Mike Tyson at the end of 1986. And then check who Lewis fought in his 11th fight and who he fought in his 18th fight. Marvis was not destined to be a journeyman. His coaches (Joe?) simply valued him too much

 

According to that logic, Marvis Frazier fought better rivals than most of the heavyweight Top 10 of all time, including Joe Louis and Holmes & Tyson themselves xD

 

well, no matter how you look at it... who fought better opponents? Add Smith, Broad, for 20 fights he has great rivals and you have to be ignorant to hate this fact. What prospect fights for the 10th time against one of the best fighters in history?
