Who's the best body puncher?

Chavez, Sr., but today the best body puncher is Bute!!!

 

Right now without a doubt the best body puncher is Guillermo Rigondeaux! He is an absolute beast at it!

 

What a joke of a list.

Chavez is the only one worth mentioning in this list when it comes to ATG body punchers.

Terrible options on that list so I voted for Chavez.

Body punching is a disappearing art, not many guys work the body well these days. Bute & Mares are two of the best currently.

Some of my all-time favourites include McCallum, Hatton, Palomino & McClellan (who had the best left hook to the body Ive ever seen)

Not in Mexico...Alot of the best body punchers today are Mexican: JMM, Montiel, Mares, Arce, Segura, ect, ect..

Guys like Rigondeaux, and Bute are also great to the body. Cotto was also great, but hasn't been much of a body puncher like in his earlier days.

Could be, but historically its always been popular with Mexican fans when fighters go to the body. If you're ever watching a fight with alot of mexicans, you will always typically hear them say to go to the body.

 

You its weird, I cant think of Chad Dawson being as much of a body-puncher of late.

This is such a bull**** comment. Dude, the klits are a hell of a heavyweight pair, they don't need you throwing them in something like this when they clearly don't belong. They aren't body punchers so don't embarrass yourself by trying to stick them in this category.

Atg body puncher would be Chavez, I keep thinking back to poor meldrick Taylor and the damage his body took.

Right now, Rigo, Mares, Margarito and Bam Bam are great body punchers.

Shane Mosley and Manny Pac should not even be on the list. Shane Mosley is a decent body puncher technique wise, but you have to mention guys like Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto, Mike Tyson...? who made a art of using specific body punches to win fights and break guys down.

When Ricky Hatton was at the height of his powers..? people on the streets where i am from, where talking about his body punchers..? "If Hatton gets Mayweather with one of them body punchers he might win"......this was a comment somebody made..? after i asked them how they think the Mayweather vs Hatton fight will go.

Since when have people on the street/fans, also sports pundits gave much talk to body punching..? Nobody talks about body punches anymore.

Mike Tyson abused Tyrell Biggs with body shots, made him a victim of share violence.
