Tysons body assault on Ruddock was brutal.

He does much more than that when he doesn't play the counter game. When he mix it up he always put body shot/head shot in his assault.

Ever? McCallum, Duran, Chavez and Frazier come immediately to mind.

Right now, Rigondeaux and Bute are both excellent body-punchers.

I have never seen a boxer cripple his opponents with body shots the way Micky Ward did. His left hook to the liver was something special. That body shot KO on Alfonso Sanchez is one of the most incredible KOs I've seen. Not to mention the way he dropped Augustus with it and had Judah keel over in pain from it.

Consistent battering to the body assault would go to Chavez, almost every other combo included body shots.

Go on youtube and look the kO punches of Lucian Bute....incredible.

He has 24 KO or TKO so far. I think that he has at least 16 or 17 Ko with one single punch to the body.

And I don't know how many knoukdown that he has so far with body punches but a lot

Honestly Bute is the best body puncher in history if you look one single punch (not accumulation)

Khaosai “The Thai Tyson” Galaxy is a bonafida body punching ATG and has every right to be on that list with JCC. His body punches and overall power were not only sickening :barf but legendary. He is rated 19 on Ring Magazine's list of 100 greatest punchers of all time and the only Thai in the IBHF. He defended his WBA world title an epic 19 times with 16 defences coming by KO over an 8 year period after which he joined that club of elite champions who retire undefeated as champions.

His attacks to the body would make any Mexican badboy proud; they were vicious, crippling and sick. I realise JCC was a master renowned for body punching, but I’d fear Khaosai’s body attack just as much. :scaredas:

For those that aren't familiar with him check him out, he's a card carrying badass!:yep

He and his twin brother Kaokor Galaxy (WBA Bantamweight Champ) are the only twins to ever be world champs.

Boy boxing on this forum is way too western hemisphere orientated!!! We’ve got ******s, *******s, Britards, Yanktards, and now I guess I’m a Thaitard!!!:nut

Rigondeaux is the best body puncher in the game. His technique is exquisite.

Bute has a beautiful body punch also.

Not a great at all or anywhere near, but JCC Jr's left hook to the body is pretty good although not as good as his dads.
