this thread is stupid because the thread starter has now concept of what A-level fighter is. anyone he can find an exploitable flaw in is apparently not an A-level fighter. stupid haters

If Floyd had fought Hatton at 140, I'd have gave him a B+ to A- for the win. As of the current, I give him a B.

I wasn't the one who brought Pac into the conversation. The point is the version of Morales Pac got round to beating wasn't as great anymore, that's why David Diaz win over him is not great. Barrera at featherweight is not a more formidable opponent than Corrales at 130

DLH, Castillo and Corrales are fine wins. Pac does not have a win over Marquez, if you think their last fight was anything less than a schooling then you're deluded, not a shutout but it was a schooling, Pacman looked like an amateur

    Castillo is only B level??

You must have some high standards.

Corrales was undefeated and way bigger than Floyd.

De La Hoya was WBC champ and Floyd fought him at HIS weight.

Moselys previous fight to Floyd was him beating the brakes off Margarito.

Hatton was undefeated and the man at LWW.

That "old" Marquez fought Pac to a standstill 2 years later.

Judah,Baldomir,Hernandez, Chavez, Gatti,Ortiz were all good wins, especially the comprehansive ways that he won.

Contrary to what people on this site say, he has a strong resume.

is this about margo? because margo wasn't A level even before. Corrales/Castillo still looks better than margo even if he had fought him back then.

To answer your question marquez, marquez was a ? back then for me but after marquez schooled pac there is no doubt now in my mind how legit that win was and for me it surpass his win against castillo/corrales. Marquez was an A level fighter and his schooling of pacquiao only shows how weight wasn't an issue back then.

Oh and if pac mans up and fight him he will be the one on top as we know how will that end

its easy to say floyd hasnt beat A level fighters... JLC & corrales would have been rated A if they had of beaten him..... but they never
De la Hoya was A rated, ti was in his weight class, a step up for floyd & therefore worthy of an A rating
Marquez proved that him being 'blown' up was bull**** when he gave manny hell
and hatton... hatton may not be A level, but he would have been had he beaten floyd - WHICH HE NEVER

f*k me, give credit where its due, i am a huge pac fan - but im a boxing fan first & formost, why people chooser to nuthug & hate the other guy is beyond me

Alot of people like to dump on floyd for fighting oscar an mosley when there were not prime.. But those people forget floyd called out oscar and mosley a long time ago on hes rise to the top.. He always fights guys coming off good wins such as mosley completely dominating and ko'ing marg.

Yet roach even stated he ducked mosley and blatently said ur to much for mannny... He insults marg in the 247 leadin up to marg v manny answering margs question of "what makes you so sure you can beat me" or something similiar. Only for roach to say "we seen your last 2 fights"... Atleast he doesent try and hide the fact he cherrypicks shot fighters

I think both corrales and castillo are B+ level in their primes and thats on a history all time scale

    Hatton is a B-

Marquez a solid A same with pac

the A+ guys would be the likes of pea,the sugars, ali, prime mike

    Well ok,if you're talking ATG levels,sure.

But its not like there was a tonne of A level ATG's in Floyd division as he was coming up.

    Castillo, 1st fight.

    And Floyd lost.

Not exactly a gold star for his ATG standing.

    Marquez, 3 fights.

    And Pacquiao lost all 3.

Not exactly a gold star for his ATG standing.

Pacquiaos only good win is the first Barrera fight , if you look at the facts
