Margarito stopped Cintron with a single body shot...only fighter to do that to Cintron. Cotto is a very good body puncher but because he is flashier and has a smooth technique people automatically think he is better. I say they are equal. After all, it was body punching that wore Cotto down and slowed him down that allowed Margarito to rearrange his face.
Margarito landed a lot more than just that one body shot, man. Margo is a heavy body puncher, but no way he wacks as hard to the body as Cotto does.
That ***** is also a Puerto Rican... Aww sucks for your people to have raised such a grade A puss bag.
Plus.....He might have had the stone in his gloves......**** Margarito....he'll never get respect from me .....no matter what he does.
I know...PRs tend to abandon their fighters when they don't perform well... Mexicans usually support their fighters through thick and thin, we don't abandon them because they have a bad showing, infact we usually support them more, and encourage them to get better.
margarito sucks at everything he does. Cotto's body attack during his 140lb campaign was ELITE caliber. Cotto has a harder time targeting the body at 147lbs because the opponents body frames make it more challenging. At 140lbs, his own body frame could wrap around the guard of opponents and crash thunderous left hooks to the body with ease. The Margo comment I made is simply out of hate for him thats all. He goes to the body a lot though.... Cotto was much more elite at it through.
It's okay...People hated Margarito before the MOsley fight, people continue to hate Margarito after the Mosley fight.
Going off on a tangent here myself.... People just don't realize how elite Cotto would have been if his body was built to remain itself at 140lbs. The maturity at that weight class really would have turned Cotto into an absolute monster. People forget how much faster and precise Cotto was at 140lbs before he started draining and losing his punch resistance. His power was also very controlling, he dictated the pace of boxing matches at that weight classes with well placed shots. If you scaled up that punching power from 140lbs up to 147lbs and Cotto would have kept a guy like Margarito off of him with ease. Fact is, Cotto's power is good, but not as good as it really was at 140lbs. That is the truth, and if people deny this then they are not being rational. I think Cotto (similar to someone like Judah/Berto) are guys without a weight division. Too big for 140lbs, too damn small for 147lbs. Not making excuses really, just telling it how it is. The way Cotto performed at 147lbs is testament to the skillfull precision of his punches. Hes 5'7 and crushed 5'11 Foreman with well placed jabs and a left hook to the body.
UliUli.....buddy...Im new to ESB site and im trying 2 find out......"who is who"...around these parts......What do you think about the "loaded glove" problem?
