Cotto. Not only is it a major part of his arsenal, he throws it with conviction landing it on target.

Relax Groupie, no one said he "doesnt have" a body attack . . but Cotto's is clearly better.

Its horses for courses really. Is it to be judged by volume of punches or effectiveness or some other variable? I would lean towards Cotto but as I said its all relative.

Mayweather can and will use it with conviction. If your guard is up at your head so much, and your crowding him, he will commit to the body with big punches because thats whats available. He will also obviously use it to set up punches to the head. I feel, while Mayweather isn't a blockbuster puncher, he does have better than average power. If you leave that shot open and forget about protecting your body, he can and will hurt you there.. But, its not something he bases his offense on. You don't necessarily look at Mayweathers style and say, "Mayweather, the guy who sits on his body punches and just kills them."

He's more, "Mayweather, the slick shell fighter who can counter very well, and is good at pot shotting."

You consider Cotto's style and its more reminiscant to that of Chavez. You cover your head and he will destroy your body.. His body punches are so punishing, fighters inevitably drop their guard to avoid pain and are put to sleep. Cotto isn't with Chavez's vintage left hook to the body and right cross to the head combo, its more varied, but same sort of effect with his base style.

I think Cotto will win because of his bazooka jab. He can also go to the body with ease. I can switch south paw and hit Floyd with the straight left and the right hook like Zab. I see a ud or late round KO for Cotto.
