Both started at the lower weight classes. I believe featherweight & super featherweight. Who is the better and who would win at maybe 135lbs or 140lbs? And who has had the Better Career/Resume??:think

    Lol seriously ?

Gatti is a boxing legend. Guerrero isn't near his level. He has a long way to go.

Gatti is more of a legend based on entertainment value.

Achievement-wise, they are not that far apart.

I'd say Gatti by a small margin. But hey, if Robert won't get stopped as soon as Gatti did against Floyd, the gap will be even smaller. :D

Ghost still has plenty to do in his career, if not already he will absolutely be more accomplished than Gatti.

I loved to watch Gatti fight, and I remember when The ghost was coming up on Fox. They said he had no power and power couldn't be helped. But over the years he has learned to sit on his punched better. I think At the present Gatti accomplished more. But I think Guerrero will put on a tougher fight against Floyd

Guerrero's career isn't over yet. But it will be after May 4th so we can resume the discussion then.

Guerrero is better than Gatti ever was. Definitely. Maybe his overall resume isn't quite there yet, but he should still have plenty of wins left in him and has never been smacked about by a Manfredy level guy, nor has he taken losses from Ivan Robinson/end-of-the-road Mickey Ward types either.

Gatti could compete on a world class level and was fun as all hell, but he was never considered anything close to elite. A legend, sure, but for different reasons than most.

You're underestimating what Gatti did as a professional, and overrating what Guerrero had done thus far.

Guerrero is the better fighter (not the better resume), but not by that much. I could see Floyd laying a severe whooping on Guerrero if he were younger. ****, Floyd still might KO Guerrero some time in the middle of the fight.
