who's the better fighter? Nonito Donaire or Paul Williams

Nonito Donaire in terms of skill an p4p as a fighter.

 

hmm says... Donaire .....he has the talent to be a complete fighter.

It's a very good question... hard to answer of course since they are so different in the ring.

To me, it's a question of taste. Both already have wins over guys considered to be the "dangerous" fighter of their division. They both still have room for considerable improvement.

I'm saying Donaire because that left hook of his is a straight up eraser. Williams hasn't shown that kind of one punch ability against the same level of opposition, and to me, it's the biggest thing that separates them.

 

Donaire. Though that could be subject to change. Williams' defense, especially dropping his arm to hook and leaving his chin in the air, still makes me doubt him.

 

Donaire has power at his weight that Paul Williams doesn't. I think Donaire is the more complete fighter. He is fast, fights his height, has power, and good footwork.

 

Skillset to skillset Donaire, however, Paul has more physical advantages over his opponents

Donaire. Boxer-Puncher with a lot of power. More skilled than Williams.

 

Williams isn't that well liked on this board so it's not unbelievable that people would say Donaire is that much better than him. Though people are acting like Donaire doesn't get tagged either when he does as much as Williams does.
