    Chavez Jr. or Alfredo Angulo?

No offense to junior, but I think Angulo has more ways to go.

    Your thoughts?

Is this a joke? Chavez Jr. sure is. Angulo would put him to sleep in 4 or 5 rounds.

Angulo, but Angulo is just another Margarito. limited skills, gets hit i the face alot, will put pressure, but if he fought Kirkland he would get droped in 3. Chavez jr anit ****

This not remind you of a certain James Kirkland either? He's hardly a great technician or a defensive master himself.

Angulo, but count me out of the "Let's Sh*t on Jr." crowd.

With time, he can develop into a top 15 or so fighter at 154.

No it doesnt. Kirkland is 5 times the boxer Angulo is. Kirkland throws 3 straight lefts in a row, works the body, yeah his defense isnt that much better then Angulos, but Angulo is slow ass ****. I do hoe he beats Cintrons ass because hes a wuss

Between those two, Angulo by a country mile.

At this point, long-term prospects are as follows (IMO)

    Andrade > Matirosyan > Kirkland > Angulo > Latimore > Greene > Chavez > Porter / Trout

I don't think Porter looks that great for the pro game (he's just so small and not that quick), but he did knock out both Danny Jacobs and Fernando Guerrero as an amateur.

Lot of talent up and coming in the division though. Junior's still got age on his side, but he just hasn't improved all that much in the past couple years when you consider his level of development. He has some good physical tools, but technically he just sucks, and I can't help but feel like he'd get his ass kicked by guys like Ossie Duran or Daniel Edouard.

Im a kirkland fan and yeah I would like to see him improve his defensive skills a bit, without compromising his entertaining style

At this point i like Angulo better, He has only had 15 fights and he looks mature beyond his years. Cool, Calm and collected, accurate with heavy hands. Needs to work on his defence but he's stepping up his level of opposition with every fight now and is learning fast. Chavez is still fighting journeymen after 39 fights.
