Who's The Biggest Scalp So Far In 2018???

Hurd over Lara

...are the two best wins of the year so far (could be forgetting something so will stick an * here).

 

Everybody forgetting about Estrada?! This is a no brainer.

Just because you're Crawford or Lomachenko fans worried about boasting Rungvisai? That's all it is, you schmucks. And you don't have to worry about that. Any boxing brain worth anything knows Rungvisai is, by any and all measures used, the P4P King of the moment. Estrada had been sitting in or at worst on the cusp of every P4P list for years now, with good reason, and continuously proven.

 

For me Rungvisai vs Estrada.

 

I would have given it to Hurd too if Lara wasnt old. I think he's 35 now. Which is just too old to be in there having to ward off that type of pressure. The older man was more skilled than Hurd. But he just couldn't take the attrition and the grueling style of that fight. Hurd fights in an extremely tough and hard nosed style. Lara just can't fight handle that anymore. Too old.

I thought about the Estrada scalp. But I ended up voting for Gassiev knocking out Dorticos.

A young high level opponent. Not elite, but still a very good fighter. Gassiev knocked him down in the 12th and then finished him off. Very impressive performance by Gassiev.

 

Estrada was the p4p guy, or closest to it.
