I'm not suprised people are coming out to put the boots into Haye. He's been so disrespectful of not just the Klitschko brothers but all heavyweight fighters for at least 3 years he had to win saturday or he'd really be in for it. And yes, he did do better than Eddie Chambers but not by that much, and is doing marginally better than a "fat bum" anything to brag about? He said Cris Arreola has the bodyfat ratio of a pork scratching but he showed more bottle against Vitali than Haye did against Wladimir, and despite crying still took defeat like more of a man. The expression is "you reap what you sow" and Haye's quite a crop coming his way.

He looked like utter **** against a nobody.

He admitted he looked like **** too.
I seriously doubt he'll ever come good again. I think the same about Haye.
Haye might come back and "look spectacular" against a carefully chosen opponent - that's all he's ever done at heavyweight, and half his HW fights he hasn't even looked good.

Chambers has the better HW resume. But that's hardly anything to brag about.

Both these guys are "bums" as Haye classed it.

1. Peter wasnt top 5, he was just coming off a destructive loss to Vitali, and it was no where near a clear win for Eddie, a hard fought majority desison.

2. Won ''probably almost every round'' ? Thats a bit of a dodgy statement? It was another tough majority desison, these arent dominating wins.

3. Calvin Brock? He was hammered by Wlad (after a dodgy opening) and Eddie won a debatable split desison.

4. The D level wins mean nothing really, do they?

5. Defeats, Wlad destroyed him, and Povetkin lost 3 rounds at most, and Eddie showed he wasnt at that level in either fight.

1. That was close because it was in germany, but 90% of boxıng fans thought ıt was easıly a haye wın.

2. Mormeck may of been on the slide, but he was a double champion and the best out there for Haye. Haye was down early, but came back like a true champion and hammered him.

3. Enzo, the other main champion in the divison, considered a 50 50 fight when Haye stopped him in the 2nd.

4. Ruiz, a known tough day for anybody, Haye did what no other fighter had done to him, yes Tua blew him out in 20 or so seconds, but Haye systematically destroyed him before stopping him in the 9th in dominating fashion.

5. Harrison was a money fight, stupid one because we knew what would happen, but Haye stopped him in the 3rd with no trouble.

Defeats : He did not lose every round of the fight, and I think more or less everyone, even Wlads most loved fans, gave Haye at least a round or 2, with a number of good, unbiased writers giving haye 4 rounds. The other loss was early in Hayes career, against a seasoned veteran and puncher, were haye carelessly went in trying to blow him out only to be stopped in 5.

I think Haye would anhiliate Chambers, but Id respect a proper opinion and not one full of holes in it like yours.

 

Yes & I hope Haye the "james-blunt" Spark out! Chambers is fat.. go lose some weight!

 

I like Eddie but I think Haye would stop him late in a close fight.Hayes bigger and punches way harder so in the end I think that would probably tell but im positive it would be close until the KO.
Its a hard one though because we havent seen Haye in with a HW around his own age who who hasnt got one foot in retirement(Well apart from Wlad obviously lol)

 

Then Haye should take the fight because he'd win easily according to you and Eddie Chambers would be better than every other heavyweight Haye has beaten up to this point. From an official ratings and unofficial top 10 lists, Chambers is in most top 10s (the Ring has him #6 heavyweight for instance) and Chambers is getting himself back into the title picture winning eliminators, so a victory over him would look good on Haye's resume and would remove a potential name for future title matches against the Klitschkos.
