Something to happy about, bet it was epic seeing Roy… film never matches the real thing… Hey now Seamus I can be happy for them an unsurprised to know we have posters here who have seen him, I grew up very poor watching some of Mayweather’s fights… I would say “wow” if I found out if my neighbour had a shot at seeing him live, I’m also Aussie and a lot of these greats never fought here or in my state it’s not like I could drive to Vegas lol.

 

Oooh I love that fight… that’s the mark of a pro taking your time, Archie Moore was good for a KO whenever it showed itself but like you said he let it come, RJJ was a very smart and gifted fighter he wasn’t just an athlete. Sometimes it’s not about hurting the other guy or even landing a punch… it’s about just hitting him hard enough or getting him moving, to just stay out of danger till the right moment gathering info.
