    He clearly stated Jones was eager to fight so he could change his broken image, but they were not willing to suddenly change their plans for him..

    Fact.

    There were big egos on both sides, but this would prove at least at one point, Jones wanted to fight.

    IBs been labouring under the impression that it's what... a Super Minimum Weight thread? Probably that wasn't helped by my own silly cross thread joke reference to Ali Raymi, who does actually campaign at Minimum weight.

    I woulda thought that the tired old 'Zaggy vs Jones arguments shoulda given it away tho, IB.

    Reading comprehension isn't your strong point. He said Jones was trying to repair his image with DM's name, after pathetically trying to ignore DM for years. Nothing about Jones being "eager to fight" :lol:

    Bull****..

    Read it again,

    He said Roy is all of a sudden eager to fight now that the journalists in his own country have turned on him.

    He also said they were not answering the phone at that time and they would not all of a sudden change their plans for Roy.

    You can't change what he said to fit your argument.

    It is sad you kind of owned yourself by posting that.

    I know you are incapable of giving Roy any benefit of the doubt in any scenario. But according to Kohl, Roy wanted to fight at the time of this interview, but they basically gave him the middle finger for ducking DM in the past.

    Now, I admittedly don't know how it all went down.. But I think both sides can be blamed for the fight never taking place.

    But as I said above, DM needed Roy more than Roy needed DM.. Roy's legacy is in cement, this would have certainly made it better, but DM's legacy relied on beating Roy.

    Again, reading comprehension isn't your strong point.

    Kohl's quotes back up EXACTLY what I've said. That's why I posted them. Kohl had plans of his own. He wasn't gonna instantly drop everything just to humour a camp of delusional bullshitters after they refused all of Kohl's offers and dicked around since 1999. If the Jones camp wanted to meet/speak with Kohl, they could've waited in line instead of running to the media like bitches. Jones NEVER offered the DM camp the fight. Not even close. Period.

    And I owned myself?? You own yourself every time you post, such as this ****ing pathetic cringeworthy attempt;

    :lol::rofl:patsch

    Foxy 01,

    Hilarious! You should be a comedian with such a great, well thought out, witty remark.

    Try to high jack a thread?

    By talking about Roy who fought there? :lol:

    Oh look here's your coal digging reference again. I wonder how many more times you can use it? Like I say, it's hilarious! How long did it take you to think that up?

    I'm not drooling over anything you clown.

    Roy beat Malinga and Toney, and when he couldn't get fights with Benn or Liles he moved up. He could have stayed at 168 and dominated, but he went up for a new challenge, and left Joe to fight the Sobot's and the Salem's of the world.

    Where have I tried to spin it into an ATG resume you ******?

    Joe fought in one of the weakest divisions in boxing, and his biggest win at the weight was Kessler.

    Who had Kessler beaten? Andrade, Mundine, Beyer.

    Lets all heap praise on a guy who dominated a weak division through a lack of ambition, while struggling to make weight, and who then miraculously overcame his fear of flying when Roy was 40.

    The stuff of legend! :lol:

    Jesus you really are a thick northern **** aren't you? No wonder us Londoners laugh at you and your dirty coal mines and filthy steel works, and **** like that. You were born to serve us, which probably is why the wonderful Maggie bankrupted you all.

    It isn't hard to work out. Shut the **** up about Roid Jones in a thread in which he did fvck all. For Toney see Lacy. For Pazienza see Tuckwill. For Malinga see Kessler.

    If you want to spend the rest of your insignificant little life sucking Roid Jones ****, FINE.

    Just dont act like the typical arrogantly stupid fvcking Northern ****, who thinks that everyone else wants to enjoy the experience with you.

    Now slither back into your pond, like a good piece of algae.
