Roy Jones JR had the speed and coordination to play multiple sports Ali not a fast runner or jumper compare to RJJ

no one with anywhere near the bulk stuffed into the frame of mike tyson could do the things he could do, so he's up there, as well as roy jones, thomas hearns, and ray leonard.

Even before he was full grown, the 15 year old version of Tyson was freakish. That video of him shadow boxing is crazy. He was also bone-heavy which is a big part of why his weight was so high despite looking smaller mass wise (even though he was thick like an American Bulldog)

I can't remember which documentary or amateur fight it was in but they have a split screen of Tyson and his opponent warming up and Tyson is throwing flurries so damn fast its a blur while the other guy looks like he is in slow motion.
I posted it up a while back but it was taken off youtube.

RJJ is the obvious one that comes to mind.

Tyson was a freak of nature too.

    Great thread.

I look for a guy who would be able to play multiple sports at a high level. Somebody who had great balance, coordination, speed, and the right body type. Ali fits all of those bills.
