    A decent point, though tbh I think ward would end up beating calzaghe pretty handily as well

    This thread just goes to show how the great fighters of the past are extremely underrated.

    I think Ward would have to revert to some of his dirty tactics against an operator like Calzaghe and I think in the first few rounds he might have success but the thing with Calzaghe was that he could adapt, he didn't just rely on one thing so I don't think it would be an easy night for Ward, who needed to fight dirty and to be honest illegally to beat Kessler. I think Calzaghe would edge it against Ward, it would be an interesting fight for sure.

    Eubank would be a harder fight for Froch to win, but think he would have edged it. But a close one. Style wise Benn v Froch as a mythical match up is hard to beat on these shores.
