    1. Oscar De La Hoya
    2. Felix Trinidad
    3. Shane Mosley
    4. Winky Wright

Regardless of his losses, De La Hoya still has the best resume of the group. Although I can see a case for #2 and #3 on my list being at #1.

Oscar getting too much **** from people in this thread.

DLH has had a pretty darn good career and his resume is very strong.

I still can't pick one of them.

i agree resume-wise, i just meant whoever was in the ring with him ultimately got beaten and often savagely... much like the way tito did... i agree oscar's resume is a little underrated at those weights

    I know, it's frustrating.

Do you count both of DLH's fights with Shane as losses though?

I agree, he dominanted Mosley twice, and shout out Tito. He tried to fight DLH, but DLH turned him down cause he knew what was good  Winky gets my vote as well. :good

I find it LAUGHABLE that Winky is last on this list. Why? Because he didn't fight in the Olympics or have a country behind him waving a flag or even groomed in the amatuers as young kid? Winky CLAWED & SCRATCHED his way to become an ELITE fighter. And he destoyed two of the fighters on this list and Oscar would'nt fight him! Even as his career is winding down...he still can't get people to fight him. None of the fighters on this list could beat Winky "back-then" nor could they beat him now at 147-160lbs. Everytime there is a survey on ESB...NO-ONE bases their opinion on what happened in "THE RING"...ITS JUST A DAMN POPULARITY CONTEST!!!!!

Oscar easily beat Tito, if not for Don King Tito would have lost the fight. Oscar landed over 100 more punches than Tito and Tito was surprised with the decison.

    Oscar

You are overlooking the context of those wins my friend..sure on face value they are very impressive but there is more to it then that.

There is more to it then just saying fighter A beat fighter B therefore he is greater.

Winky was bigger then all of them for a start, so you have to take that into account from the get go. He beat an ex lightweight twice in a row, a man who arguably had not won a fight in 3 years. CLEARLY Shane was not as good at 154.

His win over Tito was very impressive, and often people dont give him enough credit for it. But it is quite evident Tito's best days were several years and several pounds before this fight.

Your analysis is extremely simple and narrow minded.

So becasue Winky was Naturally Bigger (on your opinion) and Tito, Oscar, didn't have the courage to fight Winky when he was begging for a fight on US soil back in the late
90's and early ('98-'03). He fought at 154, 160, 168 simply because no-one wanted to fight him. He begged Oscar for a fight and Oscar said NO TWICE, and chose to fight Felix Sturm and Luis Ramon Campos. And He wanted to fight Tito in 2001 but Tito chose to fight William Joppy.
Like I said its all a POPULARITY CONTEST!!!! Oscar is the Pretty-Face, Olympic Hero and his poster is plasterd on the wall of every white and spanish teenaged girl in the US and Mexico, Tito is a Hero on a small Island in the Caribbean and Mosley is the California kid with Class and a great smile. But I'll put Winky's skill and record up against these 3 fighters ANYDAY...HE WOULD HAVE DESTROYED OSCAR AT ANY WEIGHT!!!
Look, I get it! All 4 of these fighters are Elite-Level. But I just don't understand why Winky has to take the "Back-Seat"!!!!
