    Quoted for the truth

Probably Whitaker, Hagler's certainly up there aswell.

There's probably a bit of a gap then, there's guys like Pacquiao, Calzaghe :conf, Saldivar, Tiger Flowers. Great fighters, but not as high up an all time P4P list as Sweet Pea and Marvellous Marvin.

It's between Hagler and Whitaker. If Pac beats Cotto than I'll put him in the conversation, if he beats Cotto then Mayweather than I say he's the best southpaw ever.

I saw more of Whitaker than Hagler so I might be biased but I think sweet pea was the best southpaw I have seen.

A great deal of people here hold Hagler in higher esteem than Pernell Whitaker?

Why? Both Whitaker and Pac are miles better than the middleweight champ best known for his fights against welterweights and lightweights and his loss to a WW.
