Pacquiao weighed in at 145.75lbs for Clottey, and was 148.5lbs on fightnight, as far as I know.

I'd love marquez to smack pac around.

How long have we waited for a featherweight-lightweight-welterweight champ?

Pac came close but moved from lw after only 1 fight.

By came close, you mean was a champion at fw, lw, and ww? :huh

'Lineal' title is meaningless now that it's so far removed. Was Baldomir in '06 a better or more important or more valid ww champion than Pacquiao is now? Nonsense.

Marquez is being written off, just as Morales was in the Maidana fight. Granted, Maidana is no Pacquiao. But this is a grudge match and anything can happen. Marquez will want to win this fight more than he ever has before

The issue was that Ariza tried to make Pac weigh in as heavy as possible, he wanted Manny to be 147 at the weigh-in, and then rehydrate higher than that, but apparently Pacquiao felt this was slowing him down and tried to resist close to the fight. He still weighed in 1.75lbs heavier than he usually does, but by fight-time he was back to normal because he went against Ariza that time, and afterwards said he'd never try to get his weigh-in weight up higher again.

Well, one guy really wanting to win a fight usually makes a huge difference. As long as Pacquiao isn't that fussed about winning, Marquez should have this one in the bag.

JMM wasn't lineal at FW although imo he deserved to be. Manny isn't lineal at WW. Would be a great accomplishment none the less

    Are you pissed?

Who mentioned the lineal title? Who said baldomir was a more valid champ than pac?

Sober up before rereading my post and making a sensible reply :good

    Lineal means little to me.

There was a time (just after pac left the division) when marquez was clearly the best fw around imo.

Pac is now clearly the best ww and if marquez beats him he'll be a champ across the 3 weights imo.

Jones jr was never lineal champ, it means fuk all.
