That was before he fought Herrera for the unified title. Now Herrera's the man at 140 and Danny is not.
Not according to most ringside observers, including all the showtime broadcast team and a majority of fans who watched the fight.
Danny is still the man, that was a one trick pony show and if they fought again Danny would probably knock him out.
I dont know . I doubt it . Garcia fought Matthysee whos is also a knockout artist who most people would say is a better fighter than Provodnikov . If he stepped into the ring with Lucas , Most likely he would have no problem stepping into the ring with Ruslan . BTW Even if Garcia does move up , its not like Ruslan has not fought @ 147 before . Hes fought Bradley at that weight and proved that he can be a threat to anyone in that weight class . Bradley/Provodnikov was a DRAW in my eyes . Garcia/Provodnikov is a toss up . I can see either fighter winning .
I've seen a lot of people saying that Danny Garcia was lucky against Matthysse and I believe he was also. Matthysse was hurting Danny until his eye closed early on in the fight and then he couldn't get off as much after that. I never said he was lucky against Khan as many do. Also yes, a lot of talk has been had about a clash between him and Mayweather and *****s try to talk about him as a credible opponent when there are much better guys who Mayweather ducks.
He already had the unified titles without fighting Peterson and I have always felt Peterson could beat Danny Garcia. Peterson is faster, works hard with a higher out put and I think he could take Danny Garcia's power.
IDGAF if Yasniel Toledo is still amateur but he'd beat the **** outta any of these basic fighters like garcia and alexander with ease!
