the local sport TV here aired chavez vs ramirez last week which I rewatch again on youtube recently and I think ramirez is one of most durable fighter in his weight class... every chavez punches sounds like a fckin "BUMP" :bbband this guy just keep throwing back and trading with chavez and after the fight was stop because of the headclash there's no bruises or swolen on ramirez face
Mallignaggi, simply for the battering cotto and Hatton gave him,and him wanting to continue. Ray mercer is another one who comes to mind.
James Toney hasn't been KO'd over 83 fights(from MW to HW) and before Peter knocked him down in 2007(which was really due to him being off balance) he hadn't been knocked down since the Roy Jones fight in 1994.
i know this is about taking a punch but how about roberto duran wasnt he fighting at age 60 lol he won a championship at middleweight against a guy a lot younger than him plus he started his career at lightweight and to end up fighting middleweights that's something :hat
that's actually part of what I mean... not just that it's difficult to get rid of him in a fight (Tua ruled in that one!), you can beat the guy, he comes back, you beat him again, he comes back, and again, and again, and again... Now he's up for the WBA strap again! Believe me, if he loses from Haye (which he should of course) he still stays around. God forbid he wins! :-(
Now that's not a name I was expecting to see on this thread but he faced some big punchers and was never KO'D.
Ramirez had 111 pro fight and only KO'd once very early in his career but then again Camacho sr had 85 and never KO'd once so I also agree with that However, Ramirez is an inside fighter and watching him against Rosario and Chavez shows how durable he is. Camacho dominated him the entire fight but if it was 15th round match I'm sure he's not going to get KO'd
