Who's the most hated active boxer?

    Was having an argument with my mate. I reckon Margaritto, he reckons Floyd, could be close. I'll throw in some other guys who get flak too incase were both wrong.

    Depends what you mean by "Hated".
    Most of those "Hated" fighters could bring in 30,000+ people into the arena every time.

    I think your a hated fighter when your good but frustrating because you won't/can't fight the best there is to offer.

    Its a ****ing shame as well guys with the talent of Floyd and Pacquiao and to a lesser extent Haye should be championed not hated.

    Just most hated in general - even if they have a million fans but have 5 million who dislikes them then they will probably win. (thats an example - not accurate figures)

    It can be for any reason too, either for cheating, for being a big mouth or cause people dont like there style of boxing.

    I was gonna put Chavez Jnr on the list but hes too insignificant to pose a threat:lol:

    i just didnt think that many people really cared about \cintron to hate him that much.

    Valero would have been up there if he was still alive especially after all the **** he pulled before the killings

    I understand what you are saying 100%.
    But you have to also factor in that most people don't have the same knowledge or fight views that we on this forum have.

    Just because some people hate a certain fighter ect... on this forum.
    In general usually ain't the views of the casual fan that makes up the higher percentage of the opinions.

    Overall I'd say a fighter deemed as "Boring" by the general public/casual fan would fall under the most hated banner more often than not.

    It's funny because Margarito was getting a lot of credit pre-Mosley and most people had him down as the guy who Floyd was ducking.

    Haye got a lot of support when he moved up and called out the Klits.

    Funny how quickly things can change in the fight game.

    I think its floyd based on the fact that he's the only boxer that the general public really knows, and they all know him for his cocky attitude and his antics and therefore a lot of the general public hates him. Sure Margarito is one of the more hated among boxing fans but the general public doesn't even know who he is. So based purely on the amount of people who don't like him you have to say that Floyd is the most hated boxer.

    Mayweather for the most i think! Personal i do not have problem with him as a fighter, but outside the ring his attitude is not my taste i must say

    #1 for me right now is David Haye! His talk and his abillity not to back it up, is really getting anoying and patetic!
