Actually I believe Jimmy Lennon jr leaves Michael Buffer way behind in the Ring Announcer competition. As a well known fighter once said " Look at Buffer never had to take a punch to make a fortune in boxing he just had the " Lets get ready to RUMBLE"!!!!! catch phrase & a fake suntan
Lennon on the other hand does his job right Ive seen him visit fighters in the dressing room to verify how their name is pronounced & their personal details & records are correct
I'll never forget at Ft Worth TX Convention center, at a Cedric Kushner Heavyweight Explosion card Buffer came out with " Welcome to a Night of World Class Professional Championship WRESTLING"!!!!!! ROFL
It was on TV either Tues night or Fri night fights. He also introduced Paulie Ayala in the ring as The NABF HEAVYWEIGHT Champion. Paulie laughed & said "If I was a Heavyweight my purse would be a lot bigger " lol
Really though as one of the judges remarked " You cannot blame him Just look at that Gorgeous Blonde sitting next to him his minds not on the boxing I'll bet LOL Great Memories
