Hattons loss has got me thinking, he was extremely limited but got so far. It's really astonishing if you ask me.

Who took it one step further and got to ATG status whilst being well.. limited.

    My shout is JCC.

Hatton didn't really get all that far IMO. He won a championship and defended it a couple of times. With today's 3000 belts in 40000 weight classes I wouldn't put too much weight into the title that he got at 147

BOLLOCKS. JCC had very underatted boxing skills in his prime. in the latter years he was just a brawler

    carlos mozon seemed very limited

Monzon limited? I think you need to reexamine him.... the guy rarely even lost rounds.... if boxings sweet science is not understood by you then maybe Monzon might seem limited.. but he is FAR from being one of the most limited ATGS

Agreed. If it wasn't for the media exposure that came from his devastatingly good first few years and his fall from grace, he wouldn't even be considered an ATG. There's nothing in his track record to suggest he should be one. The best names on it are Michael Spinks and a 38-yr-old post-retirement Larry Holmes.

great points. i know that monzon was greatly skilled but a lot of his good work was not that remarkable to look at. thats why he seemed a lot more beatable than he was

Rocky Marciano is surely the definitive choice?

tyson only showed poor stamina in the latter years when he sut he stopped training properley. we will never know how good it was

you could not say that tyson was limited skillwise. the man had it all. punch power, speed, timing, boxing ability

    JCC?:-(

Chavez was a real boxer puncher, not a mindless brawler. Watch his entire fights instead of youtube highlights.
