How about Zab Judah ? I like the guy but whoever he loses to, he finds a way to get guys on his bandwagon over and over. Still, his victory over Vernon Paris has been one of my favorite moment in boxing, this past year. He really seemed to enjoy boxing, that night... Like a younger Pacquiao.
He is probably the most overrated fighter on online boxing forums. If you only learned about boxing from places like this someone would think James Toney, Sweet Pea, and Eder Jofre were co-GOATs. He was brilliant at 160 and 168 but really he developed poor work ethic. I just feel like h2h fantasy fights and whatnot he gets too much credit.
I don't know if I'd call him brilliant at 160 actually, he was inconsistent. Looked brilliant in the first fight with McCallum, then got a gift against Tiberi. He was fortunate to receive the decision in the rematch with McCallum, IMO.
That big booty on that girl!!! I'll sniff suck lick all day and all night lol. Who is that on ur avatar?
tbh I haven't watched his entire career, I'm 29 so when my interest in boxing really picked up those days were behind him. I was making my assessment based on what fights at those weights I have seen and a brief glance at his boxrec.
Corrie Sanders (RIP) springs to mind, but that is mainly driven by certain fans with a particular agenda (sure anyone can work out who this is referring to). He was a fast, dangerous southpaw and something of an underachiever, but there is a reason he lost to Rahman in his prime and was bombed out in a couple of rounds by Nate Tubbs. He rarely gets a mention these days, but I could never fathom the hype surrounding Danny Romero. Apart from a strong punch there was nothing particularly special about him, and he looked vulnerable in nearly every fight, often against limited opposition. Betting on Tapia to beat him was one of the safest "pick'em" fights I ever won money on. Romero to me was the classic case of the Emperor's new clothes - the hype machine tried to explain away losses to the likes of Willy Salazar and bizarrely people kept on buying it all the way through to the Carbajal fight.
hate to say it but Roberto Duran!!!!! Got smoked by Tommy Hearns and the Sugar Man. Also lost to Benitez and Marvelous Marvin!! Quit his most important ft.
You're talking about arguably the greatest pure boxer ever. Even if you think his record doesn't merit it you shouldn't laugh at something perfectly justifiable.
