Who is "us"? You are many?

Anyway, so far, we have the following FACTS (meaning there are actual posts of yours proving them) about JoeAverage, the ESB poster:

    1. You refer to elite fighters as Juan Manuel Marquez, Israel Vasquez, Ivan Calderon, Rafael Marquez as "a bunch of latinos". - Yet you state you're not biased with latinos and you actually like them.

    2. You claim that putting those guys up there in the poll "shows what ESB is", meaning you obviously don't like the forum and think it is filled with latinos (even if it is, I don't see why it should be a problem to you, unless of course if you are racist, crazy, or just stupid). - Yet you post non-stop in here.

    3. If you were a boxing fan, you would know it takes BALLS and GUTS to even step in the ring, let alone fight the best at the top level. - Yet you think that Miguel Cotto is a coward cause he quit against Margarito.

    4. You've stated time and time again that "I should live with the fact Mijares got exposed and KTFO", implying I actually give a **** about Mijares and I am a fan of his. - Yet you've provided no proof whatsoever that I am a fan of Mijares (I am not). Plus, you stated in YOUR post that you found the fight with Vic uninteresting, but you've posted about 50 times already about Mijares saying how bad and overrated he is, when you didn't even know the guy's name to begin with, which means you hadn't watched another fight of his in your life before the Darchinyan bout.

    5. You implied I am Latino or Spanish (making a fool of yourself, when everyone in this forum knows I'm Greek) and then you brought up the European Song Contest, the King of Spain and Monarchy as arguments for your point (I still don't know what was your point or even if you had one). - Yet it's clear those things have nothing to do with you, me, this thread or this forum-unless of course you're mentally deranged and you have no clue what you're talking about.

Now, to answer your question, why the hell should I be bothered if you posted a poll containing 7 US fighters and one latino, one Euro and one Asian fighter, as long as there's reason behind your picks? Not everyone thinks there's a consipracy behind a poll like you do.

If I posted such a poll I would be as biased as you.

Any sane boxing fan would know it. Would they call me out on my bias? Maybe not. Do people always call you out on your bias even when they recognize it? No, I did. And posting such a poll would be as biased from me as posting the poll you did is from you.

Biased. You are biased. Learn to live with it. You can take comfort in the fact that most people don't care about your bias.

    Jesus Christ, I'm owned.

You could also claim I'm the King of Spain:lol:. It's a free forum.
What I take comfort in, is the fact that noone takes anything you post seriously, since you provide nothing to back up your irrational claims.

Your "arguments" are limited like this: bla bla bla - bias bias bias - live with it live with it live with it. Oh, and you occasionally mumble something about Monarchy, the King of Spain and the European Song Contest. Pure boxing talk.

Seize the day by logging off.

Not in order of course and I don't really want to make an order since it's really complicated and those guys I picked are all skilled in their own ways. Forgot to pick Calderon, didn't notice him there. :patsch

Btw Scar, Pharaoh made a good point earlier, comparing power and speed.
He said a fighter can work on his speed as much as he can work on his power. I feel that speed is something a fighter can improve a little bit more than the actual pop in his punches... What you got?

Based on your criteria, Elusiveness, Quickness, Footwork, Speed, Defense, Counter-punching ability, Explosiveness, Offensive arsenal, Ring generalship, I'm surprised that Pac wasn't on your list. He might not be a master of all of these skills but his quickness, speed, and explosiveness are at the elite level. I'm not saying I'd vote for him but he deserves consideration.

Speed can be improved for sure but a major improvement I just don't think, like a fighter who is slow all of a sudden showing up with insane speed, don't think so. Usually different fighters can make a certain slow fighter look very fast based on their poor speed. Power though is something you are born with, one punch KO power, otherwise everyone would be a puncher today or extremely fast. It can be slightly improved, but a major one, don't think so.

Yep, he sure deserves an honourable mention. :good

I guess when I thought of the thread, I was thinking more like slick boxers, and Pac doesn't exactly fit in that description. Plus, imo he's lacking big in defense and is no pure counter-puncher, eh?

Ok, now, you had your one-sentence response frenzy, go troll someone elses thread.
Sry, someone calling a professional fighter a coward doesn't get any respect from me.
Plus, you've been humiliated numerous times in this thread alone, but you still come back to act "smart" and like you actually have something to say.

Boy, how Average you are. Be gone.

Of the boxers in your poll, here's how I rank them:

    1. Bernard Hopkins
    2. Juan Manuel Marquez
    3. Joe Calzaghe
    4. Cory Spinks
    5. Cristian Mijares
    6. Ivan Calderon
    7. Joan Guzman
    8. Rafael Marquez
    9. Israel Vazquez

I think Bute is up there with these guys as far as skill goes IMO.

And personally I don't really think of Rafa and Izzy as "skilled" boxers. They're more like boxer/punchers(with Izzy a bit more of a puncher than boxer). I don't think they're technically skilled like the rest of fighters in the poll. Donaire and Dawson are more skilled than the 2 Jr. Featherweights IMO.

Then again, I guess it depends on your own definition of "skill".
