canelo has the potential

 

It has little to do with skills and more to do with the image that can achieve crossover appeal.
Canelo's image can appeal to a wider audience than the Klitsho's, Kovalev or Fury.
The only one matching Canelo's crossover appeal is Wilder.

Look at Calzaghe and Vlad who had little to no crossover appeal but still made millions of dollars and were protected for a long time. :yep

 

Remove the very low level fury and add in elite kovalev and you have 4 of the current best
