Bigeddie also believes Clottey would knock Cotto out.

Cotto. He's better with his weaker hand, he has a better arsenal of punches upstairs and down, and his balance is far superior.

PAC. He already fought the best technical fighter in his division & hold his own & win. Cotto still have to prove this against

cotto has really improved as a boxer. much straighter punches and looks very relaxed and controlled in there now. he'd be a handful for anyone.

Just because he beat a technically sound fighter doesn't make him more technically sound than Cotto.

So let's say Cotto beats up Mayweather hypothetically, is he better technically than Pac?

Its a biased thread but Cotto is technically better.

I think Cotto puts his punches together MUCH MUCH better. Better array too. Cotto's skill level has REALLY gone up after each fight.

Cotto IMO is the best technically offensive fighter in the sport. Cotto has no "special effects" he beats people's ass not with speed not with massive power he doesn't have an ATG chin, he isn't the slickest...He beats peoples ass with PURE technicality. As far as Pacquiao is concerned........lmfao U gotta be kidding me with a question like that.... And if you don't think Cotto is that much of a technical fighter than watch every single one of his fights at 140lbs from the beginning and then come back with your opinion. Because technical punching is ALL ABOUT timing accuracy and precision - not only that he doesn't just fight with 1 style he is multidimensional. So as far as technicallity is concerned Cotto is 2nd to none.

    Cotto

Pacquiao is still effective without great technical proficiency. If anything, if he became more technical, his style might suffer.
