I thought of that list pretty quick which is why I didn't go into much detail, I picked most of the cliché answers, except Robinson and Mosley now I rethink I would rather put Frazier over Marciano

One of my favorite fighters ever, Matt had an amazing amount of courage and bottle. Perfectly put, FS!!

Tommy West held the punches of The Barbados Demon on six separate occasions and was stopped only once.

He was also involved in perhaps the most incredible fight of the pre-fight era, a bloodbath with all time great Tommy Ryan. No less a figure than Terry McGovern threw in the sponge. By the end of the fight "West’s corner looked like a slaughterhouse, so much so that some persons near the ring were nauseated and had to leave.”

    He's a candidate.

The thrashing that Ketchel took in his loss to Papke was absolutely absurd even for that era.

Both these men should be in the chat.

Ali overcame the most hardship. Underestimated in multiple fights, banned from boxing because of his beliefs, people refused to acknowledge his beliefs, was an outspoken black man when it was a bad time to be black.

If anyone had a reason to quit it was him.
