who's up there with Mayweather when it comes to connect percentage?

    the man constantly lands anywhere from 30 to 60 percent of his punches. Which current fighters and fighters from the past can touch mayweathers connect ratio?

    His average I think is in the 40's, which is amazing, and he always has as few punches landed on him as anyone.

    I don't think anyone is close.

    I don't know who's up there with him. Maybe Hopkins and Mosley after though? Maybe the Klitschko's too.

    Anyway, to answer your question i think RJJ used to be up there with his connect rate, and probably James Toney too. Maybe Pernell Whitaker?

    whats crazy is that in a lot of his fights he throws less punches than his opponent but lands more

    James Toney is pretty good too

    i have all his fights and vast majority of his percentage are in the 50s... I would not be surprise if they were all 50s. He crush everyone since compute box were around by far and least hit upon.

    His connect percentage would go down a lot if he actually decided to throw some combinations from time to time instead of all that pot-shotting crap he does.... and while his connect ratio would go down maybe his excitement value and knockout percentage would go up... but don't count on that happening anytime soon.

    Yeah that's a thing of beauty. If I recall correctly, in the DLH fight he threw a 100 less and landed 100 more.
