Rd.1 feeling each other out for the first 2 mins, Geale lands a smart combo with a minute to go...not much action, shade it to Geale.

Rd.2 Deliberate pace by Geale, no wild swinging, again no huge action but Geale the more positive 20-18 DG. Nice flurry at end of round for DG.

Rd.3 geale has a rock solid defence. starting to up the tempo a little, still very deliberate and precise in his movements, doesnt waste much energy. McKinnon not doing much but still not a huge amount of action. DG 30-27

 

Rd.4 right hook and Mckinnons down, 30 seconds in. geale awakens! Opening up now, busier yet still precise. McK cut, time in, traps him on the ropes and great scoring shots, DG looks good, 10-8, 40-35 DG

 

Rd.5 Fenech plus his sponsor for the 463rd time tonight, Body shot with 45 secs to go drops Mckinnon again, matter of time now. 10-8, 50-43 DG

 

Rd.6 geale opening up, hardly missing when he punches, some big shots getting through more regularly now, methodical exhibition, 10-9, 60-52 DG

Rd.7 Closer round, not huge action, argument could be made for either fighter, I'll shade it to Geale 10-9, 70-61, geale boxing away to an easier if a little dull win.
