Maybe. And homotional fans, don't get your panties in a bunch, that "maybe" goes to mostly all other athletes too.

Since this poll isn't public, I will state I voted the first option.

    Reasons:
-Floyd has a history of ducking tough opponents. Fought first welterweight fight Nov. 2005. Four years later, not a single fight with Mosley, Margarito, Berto, Cotto, Williams, Clottey, and now most likely Pacquiao.

-Pacquiao is being accused of taking performance enhancing drugs even though he has passed every Drug test administered by the Nevada State Atletic Commission, 10 tests to be exact. He's gone as far as demanding Manny to take further testing, not all boxers, just Manny Pacquiao. Manny expressed concern over giving blood days before fight fearing it might weaken him, and GBP reported (lied) to the world that he flat out refused. Now they will get their asses sued.

I'm not taking sides, in fact I don't really like Mayweather... at all... but if Pacquiao has nothing to hide, why not do it if it's the same for both? The argument, that he passed every drug test until now is a none argument, it doesn't say anything. Drug tests in professional boxing are worthless, you won't catch anyone with them nowadays, you might as well not test at all. Professional boxing was/is always extremely lenient when it comes to performance enhancing drugs.

He is taking the tests. He agreed to random urine tests at any time. He just doesn't want blood drained close to the fight. I really don't understand why it's so hard to understand. Pacquiao is not fighting some loser here. If he feels that anything will give him a disadvantage he's not going to want it. It's the same for everyone.

  7. I find it very, very, very frustrating that Pacquiao is refusing on what seems to be like a tiny thing. I wish he would try to find a way to get the **** over it. It's nothing - like a syringe full of blood. He's making it sound like he's donating blood (where they take liters) as opposed to a 50ml or so in the barrel of a syringe. The notion that it would weaken him in any way is farce. Yes, there is the possibility that he has some psychological aversion to needles, but still get over it. It's only the 5 days leading up to the fight he's ruling out so its obviously not about doping. Sounds like he's just a focused guy who doesnt want random testers bothering him while he's in the final stage of preparation.

As for Floyd, this is just the usual bull**** we expect from him. He figured he'd get some more mileage out the baseless rumors his father started. He's enjoying the "scandal" of all this as it fans the flames of the rumor -fire that PAC is cheating. Floyd is very jealous of Pacquio and anything that diminishes PAC boosts Floyd. It cannot be about doping because what Floyd is asking for is not meaningfully different from what PAC has agreed to. So why is he still pushing it? It's just provocation. Also, Floyds demand for external testing is a direct insult on boxing. It implicitly implies that their methods aren't good enough. He is not bigger than the sport. He is lucky team Pacquio even considered this compromise in the first place. But it def would have been better if they ruled it out in the first place instead of agreeing to 4/5ths of it. I guess they figured Floyd would compromise slightly, and were wrong. But I have a feeling he will soon.

In summary, there is no reason why they can't both be wong. They both need to get the **** over this garbage. Roach's recent interview states he is willing for Manny to be tested any time apart from the 5 days before fight time. If that's true, then Floyd should surely be happy with that.

The amount of blood taken is very little and has no effect on preformance what so ever. I think the fear of needles might have been the better excuse. Besides Floyd would have to take the same test.

    Both being stubborn

Roach doesn't want to abide by Mayweathers rules

Mayweather doesn't like people not going by his rules

Exactly, Marion Jones passed over 200 tests because she knew when they were and anybody who has a good coach/trainer can easily pass a drug test. But taking blood during training at random "unknown" times is a different story and would screw up training for sure.

Alot of people are shitting on Floyd, but is he so wrong in wanting to fight a guy who's not juicing.

the options are pretty dumb. I wouldn't say Floyd is scared to fight Pac but something fishy is going on? Why does it absolutely have to be the USADA who administers the drug tests? Surely there must be someone else who is able to do an independant drug test that is efficient.

Regardless of whether the blood taken out actually effects performance, the fact is it is a physcological thing.

Why? Because they are the best when it comes to testing drug users.

Should Roach be doing the tests?
