That first fight means about as much as the Diego-KenFlo fight from the Finale. Koscheck and Diego have both improved drastically even since the UFC 69 fight but from their fight on TUF Diego was so much more experienced then Josh was. Josh had 2 offical fights both of which had took place in 04 the same year TUF 1 was taped. Diego was 11-0 fighting in KOTC and training for years and years at Greg Jackson's not exactly the most even match on paper.

But point being, that TUF 1 fight was the real Diego. UFC 69 was not, due to staph infection.

Neither is the real Diego. Obviously one fight was 6 years ago and then he had a gigantic hole in his knee. I cant go along with the one poster and just think Koscheck now rolls over Diego because 3 years ago he passivly beat a sick Diego just as I cant use what happened when Josh had been fighting for 6 months as reason to believe Diego is really the better fighter. Honestly id pick Diego if they where to fight now Koscheck has a power overhand right but I think Diego is alittle more well rounded on his feet and can take Kos's best shot IMO. Diego is difficult to take down but when you do take him down its a adventageous postion for him hes so dangerous with elbows, sweeps, taking the back, armbars, kimuras etc. I actually though Diego beat Fitch with his activity from his guard when they fought.

Yeah, a sick Diego took Kos's best shots. Diego has a chin. Even in the Penn ass whipping, he showed heart. I honestly thought he had a chance to make it to the distance until that kick opened up that crazy gash... Kos is a good fighter. Athletic and very explosive with TD's and strikes. He's terrific and fun to watch IMO, but just as you, I think if they fought right now Diego would beat him. He's just a more well rounded fighter.

I honestly had Diego and Fitch even. That was a tough fight to score IMO. Diego's activity made it very close vs Fitch's strength advantage. I still like watching that fight. That was a good 15 mins.

I'm glad Rampage gets so much love around here. The day he dethroned Chuck was one of the happiest of my life.

He ****ed up prime Chuck in PRIDE. Matter of fact that win was better than his one in the UFC as it was a complete humiliating beatdown.

I know Rampage slammed him and they even threw in the towel. Its also worth noting Quinton himself had yet to really refine his boxing skills as he would under Juanito. Crazy what he used to be able to do because of his crazy athleticism.

Best of all is the embarrassed look on Dana's face in the corner of the screen.
