1. Fury 2. Joshua 3. Wilder 4. Usyk 5. Ruiz We're still yet to see Uysk against a top guy but he has an amazing pedigree and looks great on the eye test. Ruiz remains a question mark but his win over Joshua trumps nearly every other heavyweight out there so until we see him again I won't boot him out of the top 5. Wilder might be finished but can't be dumped out of the top 5 for losing to the number one guy in the division and Joshua is a three belt champ with one easily avenged loss.
I think a fully fit Uysk embarrasses Whyte. He knew it too. It's why it's one of the names he used to get sheepish about whenever it came up.
Possibly, but as it stands Whyte regardless of the loss he suffered has a decent HW resume whereas Usyk (who I think is very talented) has not had HW wins like Whyte has at this time Whyte has had many tough headline fights one after the other and I think that can become draining for a fighter. I think it affected Joshua when he first fought Ruiz. This is why I think Fury did it right by having tune up fights between fighting Wilder the first time. I often think HWs have it tough in the UK as there are so few that they get moved very quickly which I think can sometimes be too much too soon. Consider how at one time Chisora fought in a space of 5 fights undefeated Fury, undefeated Helenius, V Klitschko, Haye and he hadnt even had 20 fights at that time. Whyte has had a tough run with undefeated Brown, Parker, Chisora, undefeated Rivas, Povetkin in a 6 fight period
Whyte's CV has been a lot of smoke and mirrors IMO. Looked like **** against shot to **** Wach. Got popped for a test against Rivas. A decent win against Chisora and a controversial first fight I scored against him. Joseph Parker got head butted and robbed out of a draw by a scoring mistake. He'd easily win a rematch IMO. Shot to **** Brown. Shot to **** Helenius. Shot and awful Allen. Like c'mon mate. Everything he has achieved has an * next to it or isn't that impressive.
