Five weeks now since this was allegedly 99% done and due to be announced the following Monday. What’s the deal?
I been wondering the same. But also since we haven't heard anything about it not happening, Im hoping they are just ironing out a few details. Wondering if they are waiting to announce it night of Joshua-Povetkin?
I mean, come on. It's the most obvious thing in all of existence right now. They've waited for AJ fight week to spoil the party, dirty Showtime and Haymon, as usual. They intentionally hurt Canelo-GGG sales by having Mayweather-McGregor a few weeks earlier, and here they are doing the same old nonsense again.
Well it is a bit underhanded but, makes good business sense. All eyes will be on the big heavy weight fight this weekend. People will be pumped, so it is a very good time to make an announcement for another big fight.
