Cant really compare. And if it were to be done it would need to be on a per capita basis. The fact That USA has several hundred million people and a much larger (percentile) boxing following than australia, you're obviously going to be seeing the anti-floyd people around a lot more than the anti-mundiners, like in the general forum etc. But if you took a sample of 100 aussie fans and 100 US fans and asked them whether they hated Mundine or Floyd respectively, i'd say the anti-mundines would win.
Another hater thread :-( You need some help....all this hate is no good for you...you need to relax and have a few :freddy:spliff
Mayweather by far. Unfortunately Khoder hasn't had the balls to take Mundine O/S since the Ottke bout. If Mundine was seen O/S more often, he'd clearly be hated more than Mayweather.
Mundine would be more hated, simply as he would be far better known in Australia than Mayweather would be in the U.S. Keep in mind that Americans while usually bigger boxing fans than us in Aus, have a huge amount of sport on T.V and relatively speaking, audiences of Gridiron, Hockey, Basketball and Baseball, even MMA is now out selling boxing over there, yet so many know very little about it. I would hazzard a guess that if you asked the average American at random who Mayweather was, less than 25% would have ever heard of him (assuming a cross section of different states, ages, men and women) whereas in Australia Mundine has really made a name for himself, far above boxing itself to most people, in fact I would say over 80% of people would be aware of him.
Where is the correlation between Floydd and Mundine to warrant this thread in the first place? (I'm not being a smart ass, i really see no inspiration for such a thread)
Dont know what you guys are saying :huh Hes not talking about the ability of the fighters....just who is the most hated.....whats fruit got to do with it
Clearly Mundine's suffering from lack of exposure here. His strike-rate is very high within his little pond though!
Because Floyd isn't even hated. He's hated by some boxing fans... but not the general public. And a true boxing fan won't hate Floyd anyway. You cannot deny the man his skill et al. Even if Floyd was hated by the same amount of people, per capita, it's a different kind of hate. Floyd fights real, live champions - he stopped fighting Argentinians and the like when he was 8 years old i suspect. That's why Floyd is up here: . <-------------------------- and Mundine is.... <------------------------ closer to here as far as public esteem goes
