Whose hit the ground the hardest? Anderson, Torrez Jr., or Itauma?

I’d say Itauma, because it was a title fight and the highest expectations were placed on him, as he is better than all the others mentioned.

I think Torrez and Itauma might still make a comeback, but Anderson is absolutely done.
He hasn't fought in a year and a half and is talking about quitting Boxing.
The Bakole fight was two years ago and he's still completely shaken up mentally.

 

Anderson. He was completely man-handled and lost with no chance. It was over 2 years ago, and he fought only once since then, so it doesn't seem like he recovered.

Torrez Jr. - I don't think the hype was that big, so I just don't consider that too much of an upset. From the little I've seen, he never seemed like any kind of formidable force.

Itauma fought the best fighter out of the 3 and was actually winning and dominating most of the rounds. He's the only one out of these three that I see having a future in HW.

 

Anderson probably mentally folded the most. Seems like he is in sparring partner mode now and doesn't have any ambitions anymore.

Itauma was the most hyped (and rightfully so) and was promoted like a future superstar. It was a painful loss but everything is in his hands now (how he reacts to loss physically and mentally).

If literally, then it's Torrez Jr hit the ground the hardest, the guy was out cold.

 

Anderson said a long a time ago that he was only in it for the money, its partly why he was so active to begin with. TR did not want him to take the Bakole fight at the time, but Anderson wanted the payday.

I am still surprised that he is not fighting at all tho. He is still a decent top 30 guy who can make a solid living for himself. Hell, as a heavyweight he could even be a millionaire if he dedicates himself and is willing to take a few more though losses.
I checked his IG and he seems to be active in the gym.

 

Itauma will never come back from this. He is done for good.

Anderson for me. Itauma showed his ability, Torrez got chinned, Anderson got mauled and beat up.

Probably Anderson, but mainly because we've now seen that he's probably not going to make a meaningful comeback. It's still possible he could, as the Bakole fight wasn't a disaster where his chin or anything for exposed, but clearly the defeat took the will to fight out of him.

Close behind him is Torres, whose suspect chin has been exposed and is now a know vulnerability for men generally much bigger than him. He just looked like he didn't belong in there sizewise against Sanchez, and the KO emphasised that. Still time for a comeback, but the chin ain't coming back.

Itauma is the youngest of the lot, the most talented, and made a rookie error in not pacing himself (ironically what Hrgovic did against Dubois some fights back, from which he's learned). He showed good chin, good heart, just also naivety which is to be expected at his age). Itauma could still feasibly become a dominant force in the division, the others won't.

 

The Great American Hope Jared Andersons whole career and aspirations ended that night.

Torrez is done too but he wasn't nowhere near as hyped as Anderson. A lot of people already thought he was too small and defensively open

Whereas, I'd still expect Itauma to pick up a world title at some point.. but Frank Warren will be WAY more cautious with his matchmaking of him from now.

 

Moses doesn't belong in this conversation.

He looked extremely good. Most dominant prospect we've seen since Mike Tyson. To go straight in with Hrgovic as a 21 year old novice who never gone past 6 rounds.

Torrez failed badly, and Anderson got smashed up by Bakole. Moses was doing all the destroying in his fight. One way traffic.
