Duran for me not necessaristreets best but the most interesting .long career with ups and downs !! A party animal and a furious raging animal in the ring but a caring emotional man outside the ring who came from Nothing as a kid Fought to survive on the street

Unpopular apparently but I'd want the reputation of Marvin Hagler. Toughest man to ever fight at 160 and had an ominous, aloof personality during his prime. He was like a shadow, never in the spotlight like Leonard but always there, training, destroying. Brockton tough

Plus being the winner of Hagler Hearns is no small accomplishment

Just don't try to send me on a "Missouri Boatride"

Not on yr life. Greb Monzon Walker Ketchel.Zale La Motta. Tiger. Fullmer. Antuofermo. Hudkins. No way Hagler was TOUGHER THAN THEM

Hagler is tougher than all with the possible exception of LaMotta

And trust me that's coming from the heart cause I love Antuofermo and Ketchel

Love those old westerns. Pale Rider. High Plains Drifter. Unforgiven. Then you got Once Upon a Time in the West, and the old Audie Murphy films. And even this Samurai films like Yojimbo. Cinema is the one thing that was nearly unquestionably better in the past IMO.

Who's legacy I'd rather have.... Duran
Who would I rather be... SRL (Gold Medalist, multiple division champion, make a tough of money with much less wear and tear)

Boxing is more debatable than Cinema IMO. There are guys from around this period who'd beat older guys (though talent pools, culture etc are different debates).
