Whose Resume In The 90 s Do You Rate The Better, Lewis Or Holyfield??

I think Eddie has it pretty fair. People like to compare Holy. Tyson and Lewis but forget Lewis started several years later than the other two.
So for the 90's I would edge with Holy but Lewis was still elite going into the early 2000's.

 

I have an issue with this one when I think of H2H. He didn't look good enough against Foreman and Holmes to think he'd be capable of beating either if they hadn't been old. Lewis splattered Tyson and made it look easy, while Holyfield had to go to war (and admittedly did win convincingly).

 

That's why I defined my terms very carefully.

Frazier, to take another example, has a better single win on his resume than Ali does. (Because Ali never beat himself.) But Ali was a better fighter than Frazier. Ditto Louis compared to Schmeling.
