I think Pacquiao's losses really affect him in this one. The only loss he has which is really relevant is the first loss to Morales, which isn't too bad.

Pacquiao has losses which really hurt him, but his best wins are bigger achievements than Mayweather's.

yeah, the loses and draws does affect his career but the cherry pickings also affected mayweather. You can say that how can mayweather lose if he didn't keep fighting the best out there

Easy Pacman, this should not even be a debate!

    This must be a joke.

Four fights against 2 live HOF ATG legends.

Or a 35 yr old DLH, Hatton at a weight he couldn't cope with, and mediocre fighter after mediocre fighter (Gatti, Corrales, Judah- decent boxers but not top quality. He should've chased the best like Cotto does, could've fought Tszyu at the top of his game or anyone decent at welter). Only genuine elite opponent he fought was Castillo at lightweight at the time (and PBF lost their 1st fight clearly!!)

    Mayweather is better.

    -No losses.
    -More Top10 contenders.

Pac also fought a past his prime Morales and a past his prime Barrera, the second time.

Even though both Barrera and Morales were young when they fought Pacquiao ... they had already been in the game for a very long time ... atleast 15 yrs respectively.

I voted Floyd ... Floyd has fought more champions than Pacquioa ... more championship fights ...

Pacquiao got the bulk of his clout beating Morales and Barrera - two guys who were great but were faded in their own right. You see how their **** ended ...

    Morales 4 straight L's ...

Barrera 1-2 in his last 3 fights ... forced to retire like that ...

Mayweather fought the best that was available for him ... 19 championship fights ... 3 linear championships ... 15 champions on his resume (former/current)

How many does Pac have 5-7? in a career that is just as long as PBF's ... add to that he's lost to some bums and was actually knocked out which hurts his resume quality because those guys that beat him (other than Morales) were bums.

It can only be said that Morales was past his prime AFTER the 2nd fight with Pac, no-one said this before the fight and Morales fought like a lion on the night- no way past prime on that night. 1st time v Barrera was peak Barrera. Pacquiao's achievement in winning world title at FLYWEIGHT and lightweight (and possibly 140 soon) beats Mayweather's achievements. You can't say Pac isn't better coz he has losses on record- so might PBF if he ever fought any1 when he wasn't the overwhelming bookies favourite to win!! Pac has fought JM Marquez twice, who has PBF fought as good as him then, if Morales and Barrera were apparently shot?? NO-ONE. And whereas Pac jumped a weight and beat a live champion, and is now taking on a lose-lose task in fighting a little-known KO artist in Valero and chasing a fight with the best at 140 who are so much naturally bigger than him, it's PAC BY A MILE!! At this stage in his career, Pac taking on Valero is equivalent to Mayweather having the balls to fight Margarito or Williams, and we all know he doesn't have them. He'd rather sit at home counting the pennies. Good riddance.

I think Morales was hurt by not moving up to lightweight soon than he did. His body didn't seem the same --

Morales was well past his prime when he fought Pacquiao the first time ... been boxing as a pro since 16.

Barrera had been boxing as a pro since the age of 15.

    :-( :-( :-(

nope i don't remeber pac ever fighting a CAstillo or CHico. pbf beat chico in his prime chico wasa monster and was the favourite to win. he also beat the NDOU who was a highly touted KO artist.not to mention a Hatton who was also undefeated. and the list goes on
