What is he referring too then? That Mayweather hasn't fought an ATG when they were at their peak?

It's true he hasn't, that's just how it's worked out for him though in terms of whats been available at the time, it's not as if he's had a peak ATG in his weight class that he didn't fight.

At the same time he's beat a lot of champions and guys who were considered the best opponents available in that division.

Hey Corrales was no slouch bro.

He was 33-0 when he fought floyd

He was the super featherweight champion

He had defend his title in 4 championship fights before then.

After he lost to Mayweather he went on to win 2 more titles Super featherweight again and the Lightweight title. Respect what the man did in his career.

Yes he did, Paul Williams was there after Paul beat Margarito... Floyd wanted no part of Williams or Margarito...

we see that point but lets face it what elite fighter did Corrales beat? you can bring up Castillo but be real he sort of cheated his way out of being knocked out in that fight...
other than that who is there?

Hatton was still competitive (see the Malignaggi fight) but his punch resistance had gone down hill fast after getting knocked out by Mayweather, before then he was taking good shots from opponents which is what allowed him to use his come forward style so effectively but after being KO'd he was out on his feet in the next fight against Lazcano and was saved by the referee.

How was Hatton in better shape btw? If anything he was in better shape for the Mayweather fight as he didn't have to drain himself so much to make weight, I've heard he came into the ring on fight night against Mayweather the same weight as he did against Malignaggi but I've never seen their unofficial weights.

Btw do you think Hatton should make a comeback?

Hatton as a start should fight khan. khan is a good name and if he wins, it will probably put hatton on top again.

Not now no because he's dead.

It would have been a war at 130.

anyone who says that MAB was shot when Pac fought him first does not know boxing. You are shot and past prime at the age of 29? *headscratch*

I never said he was. in fact, he has great skills, and history will probably place him on the level of cotto perhaps.

very good, but not enough to be placed in the elite category like EM, pac, Barrera.

this is not to diss corrales but just stating a fact man.

which goes to show the lack of depth on the part of pbf resume.

and don't forget corrales had to drain himself before the fight because he came in 2 pounds overweight.

Since the fight was signed, I'm wondering was his prediction is.
