Most real boxing fans know that Ali proved he was one of the best. Tyson didn't.

And so did Foreman. Holyfield who fought both Foreman and Tyson said Foreman hit the hardest, Ali endured that punishment.

It's a convincing argument to as why Tyson loses.

Many people point to Tyson's size but Ali beat Liston convincingly.

I never agree with people who claim tyson folded under pressure and was mentally weak… By the time he got to the likes of lewis & Holyfield Tyson knew he was a shell of the fighter who ruled the division in the 80’s. He knew he was done an elite fighter…hadn’t prepared right, wasn’t dedicated to his craft and hadn’t had the proper fights in the build up.
The Tyson that blew through Berbick holmes spinks etc was not mentally weak he truly believed he was a god in that ring and no one could touch him….. he wouldn’t of been intimidated by anyone

    This is just lame excuses.

Tyson was a 25-2 favorite against Holyfield in the first fight. Against Buster Douglas, he was at the absoloute pinnacle of his powers and was a 42-1 favorite.

did you not read what i put? regardless of how the public saw him i said "TYSON" knew what state he was at anyway

its not like he folded in the douglas fight,, he tuck a beating before goin down and was still in the fight goin for the knock out

getting your arse kicked and been mentally weak are two completly different things

Lesser fighters than Ali went the distance with Tyson.

Tyson in his "prime" was never really tested, so how can we be sure that he had mental strength in abundance? And contrary to what people think, Tyson WAS in his prime when he fought Buster Douglas. He didn't exactly fold, but he did have a look of discouragement on his face because he couldn't blow right threw him.

A slightly past prime took blows from a young George Foreman, and a well past prime took blows from Earnie Shavers, both of whom it is widely believed hit harder than Tyson

Your not in Tyson's head. But neither am I.

Before the fight, he was the favorite. And in the first Holyfield fight he was too.

Exactly, he WAS in his prime in the Douglas fight and WAS the FAVORITE to beat Holyfield. Yet he didn't.

Tyson would lose the fight at the Press Conferences when Ali would make fun of him. Tyson was and will always be a Mental Midget.
