Why abner mares is not on the p4p list and broner is?

    Why abner mares is not on the p4p list and broner is?

    he have done alot in the last 2 years... he won the 118 tournament(one of the best divisions at that time) and he beat anselmo.

    no hate for broner....im a fan of boxing....when he start beating the best...then we can talk! mares have done more than a lot of boxers in the last 2 years

    This is a very legitimate question. Mares has obviously and clearly done more and if they were the same size, I'd favor Mares over Broner in a heartbeat.

    He is in alot of peoples list. He would have to be in mine. I havent made one in a while but if I did I cant even see Broner in the top 20. Kid has so much hype it's unreal for someone with his resume. His resume is as weak as Canelos which makes sense as they are both 22. Potential p4ps but not quite yet.

    Actually if you were to ask me what fighters I regard the most for being a fans fighters I would have to say

    Abner Mares
    Carl Froch

    Those guys always just want to test themselves against the best and have no problem where or how. Abner is already selling out the Staples Center and does not need Donaire yet he calls him out anyways when he could fight cans for the similar money. Same for Froch.
