Most asked question at presser (first question and then again asked) was WHY DIDNT GGG THROW HARDLY ANY BODY PUNCHES like last time -when he KOed so many opponent with this shot and it’s the “go to” shot for you slow a faster opponent? I find it all highly off they won’t answer this- I’m suspicious as he was alway in range ... it’s like they decided at outset for 3 fights.... For what it’s worth I though GGG won it by 2 (but I wanted him to win...) as I believe Canelo is a drug cheat.
His durability isn't what it used to be. Every time he attacked Canelo's body he took a counter from Canelo. Canelo's counters were really taking a tole on him.
because canelo could see when he was throwing them and would stand in a position to counter successfully. canelo was not buying into his feints and was usually ready anytime ggg extended himself. simply put, ggg became unsure of himself.
But that's not totatally true. There were a few instace where GGG was rallying and went head hunting and Canelo was using his upper body movement in defense, and he was open for those body shots.

Canelo has a short torso so he isn't the easiest guy to hit to the body and his defence is impeccable. But the main reason is he would of gotten countered hard had to tried going down stairs to often. When Golovkin goes to the body he doesn't dip down and make himself small, likely because he has quite long arms and can usually reach round a fighter to his body, but that means he's open to be countered when going downstairs as he's so straight up. I had hoped he would of used the jab to the body. His jab is clearly his most effect punch vs Canelo and with Canelo so squared up at times with his guard high he was open to that shot. That at least might of gotten Canelo to drop his hands more to block it which would of opened up the head and perhaps seen Canelo tire a round or 2 earlier.
He was wary of Canelo's counter uppercuts, just as in their first fight. Even though I feel GGG did enough to win, I still have to give Canelo credit for taking away much of Golovkin's offensive game and kind of making him fight scared.
Teddy Atlas was right GGG is getting old and shyt starts to go.It will show up in the fight one of them was GGG ability to hit the body for some reason he cant put it in.Maybe he is too dumbo to go downstairs because he cant he is too slow plodder and old robot.
