I just don't get it in the last 10 months he has beaten Pascal, Taylor and now Dirrell and two of those fights were FOTY contenders by this time next year add Kessler and Abraham to the list of opponents. Unlike some guys in the sport he is willing to fight anyone anytime anywhere and more often than not has fan friendly fights (the Kessler, Abraham fights cant be anything but exciting) After 26 fights Froch is building up quite the resume more fighters need to take a leaf out of his book. The hate is unwarranted IMO.

I agree with you. Carl Froch made us witness some of the best fights over the year. His fights with Pascal and Taylor were classic. And, yes, he fights the best opponents in the tournament - Kessler and Abraham, the bookies favorites, and Dirrell who I suspect will do best from the Americans.

Il.l tell you why this guy is on my **** list,It has to do with his attitude and comments that he made after the fight. This guy was given the gift of a lifetime, and he acts like he won. Ok I dont expect him to admit he lost, but dont act cocky like if you did anything. Dirrell easily won this fight and he had a right to complain but didnt.Where as you would have thought Froch scored a ko or won easily. This should have just been Humble gave Dirrell credit and Stfu. I also dont think hes any good hes slow dont like the way he keeps his hands down. This guy is the worst fighter in this tourney. He got lucky against Taylor. People also like to talk about how good this guys chin is. I dont see it I think his chin is decent but no way is at all that. Taylor dropped him(and hes an average puncher) Dirrell also hurt him a couple times and his power is only slightly above average. I will admit that Froch can punch a little and has heart, but he will get beat up from here on out. Watch and see!

Anywhere? He wants to fight Abraham and Kessler to be in his backyard. Anywhere my ass. He knows that as long he fights in england and stay on his feet, he'll get a decision win even if he lose easily.

''I've got the skills of a Sugar Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns.Ther's no doubt in my mind I would'of done the same thing to Hagler in Leonard style.''

''I''ll smash him to smitherens.I''ll render him unconcious''.

I don't think its down to that at all. I just don't think he wants to fight in Germany. I think he'd be more than up for fighting Kessler in America or somewhere if they could draw the crowd.

+1....I'm american, AND I don't have anything against Dirrrell, but ppl here have to be a bit more realistic... Even if Dirrell won (and I didn;t see it like that) you have to admit it was a close fight... stop crying and move onn.....

Yeah - boxing wise he is alright. Kinda like Abraham without the defence. However as the other posters wrote above, he is just delusional.

In a way (not boxing wise) he is similar to Mayweather, he has this absolute arrogance, that just flips people of. And Mayweather gets a little bit better away with it, well, because he is - boxing wise - more than a brutish (but effective) bulldozer.

If thats the case then him and his promoter should said something like that but both didn't. They both want to take advantage in this tournament in their favor for Froch chance to win in which it's disgraceful. Kessler is going to fight Ward in Ward's hometown. You don't hear Kessler cry about fighting thats not in demark. Froch needs to be a man and fight Kessler in Kessler backyard. If Froch is that confident that he can ko Kessler then he don't need to worry about decision.

No way has nothing to do with it,cuz Abarham beat an american and i like him I think hes pretty good. Frochs ability sucks BALLS! His personality sucks too,I forgot what he said about Hagler. Man Hagler would have stopped this clown in 6 rounds. Mayweather might talk and is arrogant at times but he can back it up with his skills. Froch has mediocre skills and a crummy defense.HIs decent power will only carry him so far. After this tourney hell be a lower top10 contender or fringe contender.

in 26 pro fights Froch fought only 2 times in USA (Taylor, Porras) 13 times in Nottingham, 8 times in London, 2 times in Dagenham and 1 time in Derby.

I got nothing to him as a person, boxing is his job and he is very good, durable puncher. But he is overrated as hell! Maybe he got a W but the Dirrell fight will haunt him for long time.
