Why all the hate for Chavez Jr.!!!

    I really don't understand all the hate for this guy!!!

    Sometimes i think that it might be racially motivated.

    First of all how can you crucify somebody for testing positive for marijuana and let berto and Peterson off like nothing!!! These ****ers soo PED's to help them beat up on their opponents with an unfair adavantage.

    Chavez simply is a ****ing dude that drinks and smokes weed!!! How and the hell is that going to give him an edge???

    Also, he get's **** for his martinez fight!!! This man had the balls to face Martinez when so many other elite fighters wanted to part of Martinez for a damn reason!!! Chavez had the balls to step up and shoot for greatness. He acutally had some succes but I belive was gun shy more then anything else. Credit to Martinez body attact that kept Jr. at bay.

    Please people watch the fight and see it again and you might have a different outlook at the fight because there was numerous time when sergio was within range for a straight right but chavez was not pulling the trigger as if he was waiting for the perfect shot. Furthermore those of you claiming that sergio was tagging Chavez more in the final 20 seconds of the fight are delusion see and whach whos head is being turned by punches!!!


    This kid deserves some credit!!!

    Because he is a spoilt brat who got everything handed to him on a silver platter (including martinez's title) when there are much better fighters who have EARNT a title shot

    Not to mention chavez comes in 20. 3/4 lbs Heavy overweight on fight night

    The guy doesn't seem to take anything serious, they feel he doesn't deserve to be where he was at. He is also seen as a cheater, weighing 180+ for a 160 bout, not doing drug test, fighting in Texas. There always seems to be antics whenever he fights, I could care less about the guy smoking weed.

    It's not that, it's the cheating. If the guy got to where he was and wasn't getting gift decisions, coming in 20lbs over the wight class, skipping drug test the list goes on. The fact his dad is who he is makes people want to see him fight and that's welcomed, the guy should take the sport a little more serious.

    The emboldened part is my only beef w/the kid. He should be at 168 or better.

    The rest of it is just jealous hypocrisy in most cases. How many people actually refuse the advantages of lucky birth in favor of eating a **** sandwich in order to get where you want to go? Besides that, his pops earned the right to bestow those advantages by working his ass off. On what basis should Sr. be denied that pleasure?
