Holy ****... is this something that is really that hard to figure out? Back in the day (around the Molina fights) I didnt like JR..... Then, when he made the move to Roach, and showed he really wanted to start putting in the work to take himself to the next level, I respect that and started coming around... and his fights he shows a lot of heart which I respected/respect. But.... the fact is, his career has been littered with either cheating to make weight, or cheating with PEDs... take your pick, either ones shitty. Then youve got the missed drug test.... the getting arrested for a DUI weeks before a fight, testing positive for weed.... being a straight punk to his HOF trainer. The list goes on. I actually dont see how anyone with capacity can be a fan of JR at this point.... I guess if you want to turn a blind eye on the disrespect he shows the people around him, the disrespect he shows the sport of boxing, and the downright cheating, and just focus on the fact that well... gee hes mexican and shows heart, uh... fine I guess. But to question how others dont share such a simple and blind point of view? Again, its really not that hard to imagine how and why many boxing fans are fed up with Jr.
Only because Sergio's knee buckled, leaving him temporarily wide-open. How many times must we repeat this obvious fact? - And Sergio wasn't even "almost knocked out," just momentarily stunned. It took him less than 20 seconds to start punishing Jr again. Reality is a beautiful thing.
Dude, outside the problem w/the cartels (which is a huge problem and we probably could find some common ideas on the situation) Mexico is doing great. The economy is growing at a better rate than the US and has been for awhile now. Mexico is well on it's way to becoming a 1st world country. Go look up where it is ranked GDPwise and in terms of military strength and median education, etc. Compare what you find w/30-40 years ago. Hell, obesity is a big problem in Mexico. Poor oppressed people tend to be skinny. Quit whining like a ***** and take pride and participate in the economy. You make all Mexicans look bad with your constant sniveling and self-victimization. You think you are going to gain respect by whimpering all the ****ing time? Wake the **** up. It's not 200 years ago or 100. It's now and alot of countries in the western hemisphere are making good come-ups. Jump on board son and come on in for the big win. :bbb
Awesome post man but what youre doing is like trying to reason with a cockroach.... or trying to talk sense to a pig.... there is no point because the thing you are talking to doesnt possess the capacity to understand it. Still though good post :good
That is awesome to see.... hopefully the progress continues. Cartels are a huge problem though, really pisses me off actually that such a great people and country are having to endure what they do.
Chavez jr. is a cheater and he should be banned for a long time. Drugs and Doping should have no place in boxing sports!!!!
There's plenty of blame to go around on both sides of the border, but we on the northern side could take a good whack at it (imo) by legalizing marijuana and thus deprive the cartels of a big source of revenue. Lol we're way off topic here. Sorry about that TS.
Why all the love for Chavez Jr who once again fail a drug test? Who wants to have days off in training when he was preparing for the biggest fight of his life? Who has disrespected Roach? Who comes in on fight night 185 pounds? <<All those i mention shows you why many hated him. He's proving why he doesnt love boxing the way his dad was. Chavez Jr is a disrespectful piece of sh$t. And btw both berto and peterson were both getting bashed like crazy by everyone after both test positive for peds.
They're wonderful people. Girl's parents are from Michoacan so I got to go a few times in 06, 08, 09. Unfortunately the cartels are making their presence known even in the smaller towns and that particular state is infamous for it's drug activity. It's a little too much risk to go over there right now.
I agree with you to a certain point, but he needs to be profesional, he needs to focus on training and needs really discipline, he can be a very good fighter but is really immature, people hate him because he is spoiled, I support him but he needs to man up and start acting like a profesional
Same. My stepmoms family live in a village in the hills... ive visited before and was hoping to again but with the violence (they have a town square with like a waterfountain in the middle, I guess dead bodies have been showing up in it) i havent yet and probably wont for awhile. sucks.
