Pavlik never turned down a fight, and never lost a fight, nor ever will. He is sheer terror on legs, avoided by everyone for a good reason. Noone wants to fight him, that's why they're running from the division he rules. This content is protected
On the money? I've traded enough posts with you to know you are not that thick. Pavlik "owed" Abraham a fight? Why? Pavlik beat 7 shades of **** out of the same man that mangled Abraham's face, and he did not need two fights to score one convincing win. Nobody "owes" anybody anything in boxing. Abraham had multiple opportunites to take on bigger challenges than he did. He invariably took the easier, softer way. He could have fought Zuniga. Instead, he CHOSE Ayala. He could have fought Winky. Instead he fought Mahir Oral. After tha Oral fight Sauerland/Abraham said they would be fine with a Pavlik fight around the first of the year. Instead Abraham CHOSE to fight a two time Pavlik victim. Abraham could have demanded that KP be invited to the tourney, and be his first fight. Did he do that? Nope! He CHOSE to fight a guy who lost 3 of his last 4 fights for less money than a Pavlik fight would make. Arthur "The Can Killer" Abraham is a joke. There is no evidence that he ever tried to make a fight with KP. If there is, show it to me. How much did AA offer Pavlik to fight in Germany? How much did AA asked for to fight in Atlantic City? What was the proposed purse split? How much did HBO, or any other network, offer for the fight? See this is where the rubber meets the road. You cannot show me a single shread of evidence that Abraham/Sauerland ever did anything but talk ****.
Scar, you arguing with that degenerate is sick to read. Please stop. He doesn't/won't get it. AM was not the number 2 guy in the division when Floyd was there, he was just an unpopular WBO champ Arum tried to get Floyd to fight, and Arum knew Floyd would not fight him under Arums terms. Arum wanted to be able to say that Floyd ducked AM because Arum knew Floyd was leaving him. Abraham was the number 2 guy in a division that has nobody in that division, and that fight never came off. Scar, you're sick for arguing with a guy who can't even speak or post lol... Sick!!!
Germanys Arthur Abraham will defend his IBF middleweight title against Kelly Pavlik anywhere in the world to prove he is the best in the division, according to his agent Kalle Sauerland. Abrahams next fight is against Lajuan Simon on Saturday 14 March. Sauerland told the Steve Bunce Boxing Hour on Setanta Sports News that Pavlik was the only fight Abraham wanted. He said: Weve been after this fight for a long time and there definitely hasnt been any offer to come to Germany. We put an offer to Top Rank [Pavliks promoters] and they seem to be hesitant, but I think in the past 48 hours were starting to make roads forward. This match up will show who the best middleweight in the world is. We understand that Kellys a big name in the States, but Arthurs a big name in Germany. All we want is for this fight to happen. Well go to his backyard and fight him if necessary. Source: Setana Sports News
You've been on my ignore list since about your 3rd day here. Every once in awhile I peak at one of your posts to see if you are still insane, and yep, still insane. Go take your meds *****.
Yep -- Sauerland talks a good story. What were the numbers? You can't produce any Finn, and that is my point. Sauerland NEVER did anything beyond talk smack, and plan a tournament. He knew the fight wasn't going to happen, because he intended to make sure it did not. He wanted AA in his tournament, and he secured his spot by building a myth at Pavlik's expense.

It's true, Boo, there aren't any numbers available. However, I think your theory that Sauerland is all talk and just wanted to promote AA, is a bit thin...
Back to topic: I like Pavlik and he's a great fighter, a real tough sob, but what I don't like is that he made excuses after his loss to BHop. BHop on this day just was on a whole different level.
Pavliks inactivity is why i'm not much of a fan anymore. I think P. Williams wins UD, though i'd like to see pavlik prove me wrong and knock him out.
This is about where I'm at as well. I've never "hated" Pavlik at all, he was just horribly beaten by Hopkins and hasn't shown me a whole bunch in his comeback fights. I don't think he beats Williams, but I'll be more than happy to give him his credit should he win impressively, or just make it a great fight.
