why all the hate for lomachenko?

Liking someone because they look like u is different than disliking someone cuz they don't look like u. And whats racist about what I said? Im not talking about this forum im talking about YouTube, (Maybe I should've stated that at first) ill tell u the same thing, if u don't believe me u can go look for yourself.

 

Exactly, I like Loma but I hate his sycophantic fans who think he's Superman. If you put out a measured response that isn't positively gushing like an overwrought schoolgirl you're called a hater. Do I like him? Yes. Do I think he's unbeatable or as good as Duran? No.

It's the easy goto excuse on here it seems. You don't like a fighter, but there's no legit reason to dislike him, pull the fan card instead.
Reason I'm pretty certain about this, is that some of the same that dislike that fighter are rabid fans of another one themselves, fans of one of his rivals or support other fighters with equally of even worse rabid fans.

All elite fighters have fans that go way overboard. Floyd, Pac, Golovkin, Usyk, Canelo, Joshua, Klitschko, Crawford, you name it. You can't hate on all of them because of their fans, right?!

 

Yes but to deny a certain feud between certain bases (cough, "*****s" and "*******s") is to deny reality. It still exists. The loyalties and connections are obvious. They continually push it. Sure, I see both sides as rabid at times, but can't help but feel one is worse than the other. One is more childish, more annoying, and more unnecessarily insulting than the other. It's a case by case basis, though, as in my experiences Hopkins fans were the worst and that doesn't add up to any agenda. Overall, I lean toward resisting overrating and respecting the underrated and perhaps that is my beef with the fan bases. Case by case, we all have our gears ground in different ways.

 

This thread has nothing to do with Mayweather or Jones Jr but you used Lomas name to belittle them regardless. . You're a hater yourself so calling out others on it just makes you a massive hypocrite.

 

Who knows. All I know is I have never seen someone with first 11/12 or is it now 12/13 fights being title fights. He's special.

I'm of the opinion that Loma never actually struggled against Pedraza except for the 10th. Most people had Pedraza winning 1 or 2 rounds. He barely hit Loma except for the 10th round.

If not blowing him up viciously means he struggled then Mayweather struggled against dozens of guys.

Hes not a puncher and will not be especially at 135.

 

Loma is actually dark skinned. Notice against Pedraza he was actually noticeably darker than the supposed "ethnic" fighter. A lot of these EE fighters are darker skinned guys. They usually have lighter hair and eyes though compared to English white guys like Taylor or Froch with dark hair.

100 years ago Loma wouldnt even be considered white. Only Anglos and Scandinavians would be considered white because they have the lightest skin and were "Western".

What is considered white always changes. Now a white person is basically anybody with indigenous European DNA.

100 years ago or maybe even 60 or 70 years ago Loma would be some swarthy, dirty, communist shitbird to them. Which just goes to show that hating is just an ongoing and evolving process.

Lomachenkos fans are a mix of races who of his ability.

Lomachenko is a nice guy who doesn't speak good english, fantastic fighter who fights the best, doesn't hit women, and is the amateur GOAT. For a true boxing fan there is NO reason to hate him!!

One of my favorite fighters is one of the whitest fighters in boxing at the moment, Canelo.

And direct me to a post where I show hatred for Lomachenko? Just because I keep it real doesn't mean I hate him. I scored his fight with Lopez 6-6, and I predicted that he may beat him in the rematch.

Also, I have rooted for Loma in most of his fights except for a couple, including his last fight which again, I thought 6-6 was a fair score.

 

Loma is not hated. Not being a Lomasexual does not make you a hater or a racist. He is just a tad overrated. You guys wanted to make him out to be the greatest in history when he is not even the best of his era. I think this post actually says more about you than those you have named.
