Steroids don't give you magical reflexes either. Nor do they gift ring smarts or the ability to improvise. Three of a prime RJJ's top qualities.

Haha! and you think he only cut 7 pounds! Ha! The whole world is wrong but YOU!

Go and look at a photo of him from the Woods fight and the Tarver fight. Then have a look at the Ruiz fight. The physiques aren't even close to be the same. You're a joker!

You keep spouting about 186, 186. He weighed in at 174 for Tarver. He weighed in at 174 BEFORE he ended up at 186.

How the **** did he first get from a solid 193 to 174?

He went from a solid 193, to 174, by only losing 7 pounds???

    Try again!

i mean think about it. Where does the extra stamina come from if steroids give you extra stamina.

Theres no extra haemoglobin in blood when you roid, no extra 02 carrying capacity, no mriaculous growth of lung tissue.

Use logic when making claims, or you may as well be in medieval times burning poor old Roy Jones at the stake for being a witch.

Not exactly. But his reign at the top compared to Roy's is like night and day.

Floyd actually beat the men at the weights he entered, rather then picking up paper trinket titles and then calling himself #1.

He also didn't fight people like Derrick Harmon, David Telesco and Richard Frazier while calling himself the best in the business.

Listen to Manny's approach to helping Hearns come back down in weight and Foreman's piece on Archie Moore .

Yes, DM was shot when Gonzalez "beat" him. Since you and the rest of Glass Jaw Jones' nuthuggers claim he went from godlike to horse**** in 8 months, why would you not believe that DM declined?

Jones talking about setting up a fight is not proof of anything. In fact, he talked about making the big fights happen all the time but they never did materialize, did they? The proof is not in what he said he was going to do or who he contacted, but what he actually did which was not very ****ing much.

Toney is one of the most overrated fighters of all-time and Roid didn't even fight him when he was at his best. He had already eaten himself out of MW and was working on doing the same at SMW. He was flat, out-of-shape, and weight drained from having dehydrated far too much in the sauna in a last-ditch effort to make weight. Benn, Eubank, and DM all had one thing in common, the one thing that made Glass Jaw Jones want nothing to do with them. Big power. He ducked every big puncher of his era and he did this because he knew what Boxing fans should have known all along. That he had no Chin. None.

Tommy Hearns had everything but a Chin and even then his Chin was never half as brittle as Jones'. Tommy also wasn't scared to test that Chin against the very best of his time and he fought them all. Jones shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath.

Jones was put into a coma by Feather Fisted Glen Johnson. That speaks volumes about his Chin. Had the ref let him continue after getting up from Tarver he would have been starched. Lebedev made him face plant in one of the funniest KOs of all-time and even buzz cut bum Green would have knocked him out cold had the ref not had pity for that joke. He didn't get knocked out in his 20s because he didn't fight anybody who could have done it. Don't you get this? He did not fight punchers or even quality fighters because of his complete lack of Chin.:patsch

Ren, I don't know **** about Roids. Nothing at all. In previous posts Knockout said they give you stamins. So I was questioning why Roy had stamina issues, if he was on roids?

    I won't pretend to know something if I don't.

oh sorry. I didnt know you were quoting someone who was wrong.

You have my respect for an interesting post anyway and for being a level headed dude, +1 and for putting the effort in to reply personally. I aint nobody vital either so its nice to get one, unlike this Dr. Knockout guy who seems to know all the answers lol.

Wake the **** up, moron. No fighter cuts their muscle and fat to the specfied limit, they cut muscle and fat until they are 10 lbs over, in this case 186, so that they are as big and strong as they can possibly be. They then sweat out 10 LBS OF WATER WEIGHT. I CANNOT MAKE THIS ANY MORE CLEAR, DUMMY. Yes, he weighed 174 before 186, BY SWEATING 10 LBS OF WATER OUT. THIS IS WHAT ALL FIGHTERS DO.

As I stated previously, start a thread asking how weight cutting works and post your version of it. Then we will see who is being pigheaded.

And it was just Roy who called himself no.1? Floyd's a great fighter, but I can easily pick his record apart and question his career, just like anybody can with anyone's.
